The Sexual Addiction Screening Test (SAST) is a free tool designed to assist in the assessment of sexually compulsive behavior which may indicate the presence of sex addiction. This assessment tool was developed by Dr. Patrick Carnes who is a pioneer in the treatment of sexual addiction and the founder of the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP).

At the end of the brief 5-minute assessment, you will receive a score out of 20.

If your score is 6 or higher it may suggest the presence of sexual addiction in your life.

The higher the score the increased probability of behaviors that mirror individuals who identify as having a sexual addiction.
